During the Event Planning course, you will learn about the event industry and what you as an event planner will have to do. This means that you can plan events for clients from the beginning right through to the end. We look at what all the stages are during an event and we even touch on what safety steps need to be taken for some of your larger events. The assignments you will have to do will help you build your new company and will teach you what it is to be an event planner. At the end of your course, you will have to plan an event with an established company and have the manager or owner of this company signing off on your work performance and knowledge.
Remember that the event planning course focuses on the planning and organizing of an event, not the decorating of the event. Should you want to learn about the decorating, you should combine your course with draping and event design. These are two of our shorter practical courses.
